What is your salvation testimony?
I grew up in the church, and have a very God loving and supporting family. Even in my fortunate circumstances, I still struggled. I've fought against depression since I was 10 years old. I knew God was there, but I still felt empty and alone. I struggled with suicidal thoughts, self harm, and attempted to take my own life multiple times. During my freshman year of high school I sought help and was placed in an in-patient mental health facility. I started to heal, but had other battles I was fighting as well. I was around the wrong people, and was caught at school with a vape... twice. After I was caught, I got sent to Warrior Academy. While I was there, I realized that I was on a dark path that led to destruction away from God. In April of 2023, I was baptized at the Bridge Church in Cleveland and rededicated my life to Christ. Since then, I have worked hard to stay in his light. I still have my struggles but I am over 1000 days free of self harm, am off all medications, and haven't touched a vape ever since.
What are you most looking forward to about this mission trip?
This trip is a great opportunity to help someone, and potentially save them from mistakes that the streets could lead them to make. I look forward to being able to assist people in need, and show them that they aren't alone. There IS a God in heaven and he DOES love them.
A little about me and my family
I am a student at White County High School. I currently work at the Helen Fun Factory, and love teaching kids how to roller skate. I also volunteer at the Bridge Church on their production team, and at Steadfast Family Farms as a journeyman and "teacher" for the kids. I live with my mom, dad, younger brother, and our 6 highly energetic dogs. After high school I plan to enlist in the U.S. Navy and eventually get a degree in psychology as well as counseling certificates.
Ways that you can specifically pray for me
In Matthew 6:34 Jesus said, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." I ask for prayers that I won't worry about what is to come. This is something completely new for me, but I should be delighted in the opportunity to show the "agape" love of Christ to someone new. Thank you for your support.
PRAYER SUPPORT TEAM
In Acts 13:3 prayer and fasting came before the Church sent Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary journey. I am asking you all to pray fervently for this missions trip. I would also like for you to share your prayers with those who are joining in prayer, so that we can be unified in prayer together!

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
In the book of Nehemiah we see how much can be accomplished when everyone pitches in. Some would say that many hands make light work. Each missionary needs to raise at least $1700 to fund this journey. This is a journey of faith and trust for many!
