Why do you want to go on this Mission Trip to Mexico?

To be able to experience something that is life changing not only for myself, but for the lives of those we encounter. To share with others the unconditional love of Jesus.

What previous missions experience do you have?

When I was growing up, My Aunt and Uncle ran a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base out of their home. I was able to do outreach with them a couple of times at different school and church events. I know I was so inspired by them as a child, I said one day I want to be a missionary in El Salvador. Well at 55 years old, I’m excited to be going to Mexico!

What is your salvation testimony? 

I was 7 years old when I accepted Jesus into my heart at a Jesus rally in southern Pennsylvania and I was baptized the same day. But it was not until many years later after struggling with an alcohol addiction that I fully surrendered my life to Christ. I was finally able to experience the fullness of God and what it meant to have a close relationship with him. From that day forward my life has never been the same.

What are you most looking forward to about this mission trip?

My 13 year old grandson and I will be going on this trip together. I’m looking forward to seeing the growth God has planned for our lives and the bond we will gain together through such a life changing experience of being able to help others in this capacity.

A little about me and my family

I grew up in a small town in Northern Pennsylvania. I have 5 sisters and brothers. I have one daughter and one son, both whom are married. I have two grandsons who are the light of my life. I completely renovated an 8x28 camper that I currently reside in and I hope to bring my passion and some of those skills with me to the build. My hobbies are art and gardening. I have one cat who’s name is Paisley, and to be honest, she runs our home!

1st off,  I would love some prayer that I can learn Spanish without offending anyone . And that God would be preparing me.
