Why do you want to go on this Mission Trip to Mexico?
I would love to be the hands and feet of Jesus to take the Good News of the Gospel to unreached people by serving them in practical ways and providing tangible needs in His name.
What previous missions experience do you have?
As a youth I went on several mission trips to rural Tennessee. As an adult I’ve served in various local missions such as homeless shelters, pregnancy crisis centers, and as an organizer for Operation Christmas Child.
What is your salvation testimony?
I accepted Christ as my savior at the age of 10 in an after-school program at a friend’s church. After drifting away from my faith in high school I returned to the feet of Jesus shortly after getting married. I was baptized at the beach a few years later after joining and becoming active in my church in Florida.
What are you most looking forward to about this mission trip?
Meeting all the local people!
A little about me and my family.
I’ve been married to my husband Brian for almost 30 years. We’ve got 4 children, the oldest of whom recently married. One gets to live in Georgia full-time while going to school, and the other two are in high school and will be joining me on this trip. As a homeschooling mama, I stay busy with school, sports, and many other activities!
Ways that you can specifically pray for me
Please pray that God would give me a humble spirit, and that I would be receptive to the Holy Spirit, and willing to do whatever God sees fit to use me for.
