What We Believe
About the Bible
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God; supreme and final in it’s authority in matters of faith and practice. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth
without any error.
II Timothy 3:16; 1:13; II Peter 1:20, 21; Psalm 119:105,160
About God
We believe in one God who is the Creator & Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and one God.
Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14
About Mankind
We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man was created to have fellowship with Him but became separated from God through sinful disobedience. The result is separation from God. Man is incapable of restoring or regaining that relationship through his own efforts.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1-2
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sinful mankind, by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead in three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. He will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I Corinthians 15:3-4; Titus 2:13; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; I Timothy 6:14-15
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides every Christian with power for living, understanding spiritual truth, and guidance in living a holy life. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

About Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to mankind. We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only provision for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation only occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the payment for their sins.
Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; 1:12
Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1
About the Christian Life
We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself. We must yield our lives to the Spirit of God and be obedient to the Word of God. This will be manifested in each believer by maturing and conforming to the image of God.
Romans 12:1-3; Romans 14:7-8
About Eternal Security
Because salvation is a gift from God given to mankind, the believer is secured in that salvation for all eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.
John 10:29; II Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; Hebrews 10:10-14; I Peter 1:3-5
About The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. The members of the Church are those who have put their faith in the redemptive work of Christ. The Purpose of the Church is to glorify God by loving Him and each other and by making Him known to the lost world.
