Why do you want to go on this Mission Trip to Mexico?

I have wanted to go on a Mission trip and serve those who have so little for at least 20 years probably but have never really been in the position to.

What previous missions experience do you have?

No previous Mission experience.

What is your salvation testimony? 

I wasn’t raised in the church and would only attend on Christmas and Easter with my parents and Granny. Occasionally some friends would invite me to go with them. I would read the Bible throughout my childhood occasionally on my own and prayed every so often on my own too. I had a tug on my heart at different times but wasn’t sure. Then at age 12, I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior on my front porch by myself during my time talking to the Lord. I never had an opportunity to be baptized since my parents didn’t take us to church, but once I was an adult and started attending church, I was baptized at the age of 23.

A little about me and my family.

Josh and I will be married for 24 years this June (during the Mission trip). We have 3 kids: Madi who will be 19 in May, JT who will be 18 in August, and Faith who will be 11 in July. They will be going on the Mission trip as well. We have been attending The Gathering Community Church for about a year and a half now. We really have loved our time there and the people have been such a blessing.

Ways that you can specifically pray for me

If the prayer team can just pray for fear, anxiety, and worry to be kept from me during my preparation for the Mission trip and during our time there. Also, that we would all be safe and healthy and be a light to those in Ensenada and that I am able to just show the love of Christ to them.
